What is selective export?
Selective export allows you to choose specific Q&A pairs within a conversation to export, rather than exporting the entire conversation. Simply check the boxes next to the Q&A sections you want, then copy to clipboard or download as a separate Markdown file. Perfect for extracting key insights from long conversations.
How does the space subdirectory feature work?
When enabled, conversations from Perplexity Spaces are automatically organized into subdirectories named after each Space. This keeps your vault organized automatically—conversations from your "Research" Space go into a Research folder, "Work" conversations go into Work, and so on.
Is my data safe and private?
Yes, absolutely. All data processing happens locally in your browser. Your conversations are never sent to external servers, ensuring complete privacy and security.
What happens if I encounter rate limits?
Our smart retry mechanism automatically handles rate limits (HTTP 429 errors) by retrying up to 3 times with a 60-second wait between attempts. The progress indicator shows retry countdowns so you know exactly what's happening.
Does this work with Obsidian mobile?
The extension works on desktop Chrome browsers. Once exported to your Obsidian vault, the files will sync to your mobile devices through Obsidian's sync feature or any cloud sync service you use.
Can I customize the export format?
